About Our Jamat

The Kutchi Soomra Jamat was registered on 20th July 1961 as Cuthei Sumra Jamat under the Society Registration Act, 1860 (KAR No. 139 of 1961-1962) and changed its name on 9th September 2018.

Our objective is to improve and facilitate the interrelationship and to promote coordination among community members concerned with social welfare programs and services.

According to different traditions and historical facts, the Soomra Community ruled Sindh in two different periods for about 482 years. The Sumerian people have been soft-hearted, kind-hearted and have a sense of belonging to the lower class in society.
