He is also the Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) from PS-106 Lyari representing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Our Mission

The Kutchi Soomra Jamat was established with clear objectives to serve and uplift the community while preserving our rich cultural heritage.

  • Promote education among community members through scholarships and schools
  • Support marriage for underprivileged families
  • Manage welfare funds for emergencies and healthcare needs
  • Preserve cultural and religious values through events and publications
  • Develop community infrastructure including mosques and community centers

Our Reach

The Kutchi Soomra Jamat operates primarily in Karachi, with members spread across several areas such as Lyari, Saddar, and Korangi. Our headquarters is located at:

Millwala Apartment, Soomra Street, Off Nishter Road, Karachi, Pakistan

Beyond Karachi, Soomra communities are active in parts of Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, and even in Gujarat and Kutch in India. The Jamat continues to grow as young members migrate to Gulf countries, UK, and USA, establishing new chapters while maintaining ties with the homeland.
